FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Insurance & Billing Questions

No. In Ontario, you can see a physiotherapist or chiropractor without a referral. However, some insurance plans may require a physician’s referral for reimbursement. If you’re unsure, we can help you check with your provider.
Please bring your extended health insurance card, a valid photo ID, and any relevant medical reports or imaging (X-rays, MRI results). If you have a referral from your doctor, bring that too.
We submit your claim directly to your insurance company after each visit. If your plan covers the full cost, you pay nothing out of pocket. If there’s a co-pay or your coverage has a limit, we’ll let you know in advance.
If your plan has a co-pay or annual maximum, you’ll only pay the difference. We accept cash, debit, and all major credit cards for any remaining balance. We’ll always explain your costs before treatment begins.
Contact us as soon as possible. Motor vehicle accident (MVA) rehabilitation is covered by your auto insurance. We’ll help you navigate the claims process, provide all required documentation, and coordinate with your insurance adjuster.
Yes. We accept WSIB (Workplace Safety & Insurance Board) claims and provide the physiotherapy and rehabilitation services you need. We’ll handle the paperwork and work with your employer’s WSIB case manager.
Absolutely. If your plan doesn’t support direct billing, we provide detailed receipts with all the information your insurance company needs for manual reimbursement.
