MEDICAL COMPRESSION STOCKINGS

Graduated Support for Healthy Circulation

Medical compression stockings are specialized garments designed to apply controlled, graduated pressure to the legs. They are commonly recommended as part of a conservative management plan for conditions affecting the venous and lymphatic systems.

Unlike general support stockings, medical compression stockings are prescribed based on clinical need — selected according to appropriate compression levels, accurate measurements, and your individual lifestyle.

HOW THEY WORK

The Science of Graduated Pressure

Medical compression stockings provide the greatest pressure at the ankle, with compression gradually decreasing up the leg. This graduated design supports venous blood return toward the heart, reduces lower-limb swelling, improves comfort during prolonged standing or sitting, and helps manage pressure from venous or lymphatic conditions — with the right level determined through professional assessment.

COMPRESSION LEVELS

Prescribed to Your Needs

Stockings come in defined compression classes, measured in mmHg and selected based on clinical findings.

Class I (15–20 mmHg)

Light compression for tired or aching legs, mild swelling, early varicose vein symptoms, pregnancy discomfort, travel, or prolonged sitting and standing.

Class II (20–30 mmHg)

Moderate compression for more noticeable varicose veins, persistent swelling, post-treatment support, and DVT prevention.

Class III (30–40 mmHg)

Firm compression for advanced venous or lymphatic conditions such as severe venous insufficiency or lymphedema, used under medical supervision.

Professional Fitting

Because incorrect compression can be ineffective, every pair requires accurate professional measurement and fitting for the right results.
